Hey Everybody,
I just got a new email from Shanna letting everyone know that they have moved the book club time to 4:30 pm. Here is the email so you can check it out:
“Those of us who attended book club last Thursday at Wisebird discussed our options for meeting times and agreed that we would like to meet at 4:30 p.m., still on the 4th Thursday of each month. The earlier start time works out for everyone and it will be easier to get to evening events like the Symphony. I hope the new time does not exclude those who were not there to voice their opinion.
That being said, our next meeting will be on June 23 and we will be discussing “The 19th Wife”, a murder mystery that has something to do with Brigham Young. I haven’t read it yet so I cannot comment on it except that it sounds intriguing.
The July meeting will be held July 28 and we will be discussing “Wolf Hall” a historical novel set in England at the time of one of the Henry’s (I can’t remember which one). Should be another interesting discussion.
Have a nice summer. We will need some suggestions for future books so let me know what you are reading this summer that you would recommend. See you soon and happy reading.
